VLTOR CASV-SCAR
All those new owners of SCAR 16s and 17s can personlize their forends now since VLTOR plans to release a new CASV designed for the SCAR. I got to handle one at Shot Show, and not that the SCAR needs it, but it felt like it reduced the weight by a few ounces. One thing that did stick out is the difference of FDE hues between the SCAR and the CASV–which is common since it seems that every manufacturer has a different hue for FDE. Anyway, if you’re a SCAR owner and wish to make your rifle stick out a little more, have a modular rail system, and want to reduce the weight of your already light SCAR, well now you can.
These should be coming out soon, in long and short models, and in FDE and black. Expect the price to be around the $250 for the short version and $300 for the long. See below for the CASVL-SCAR in black.
