Ruger SR40c Compact Pistol
Ruger has just came out with its compact version of the SR40 we reviewed last year. The new SR40c will make it a little easier to conceale carry since it is about an inch shorter both in length and height from its bigger brother. Other than the obvious size difference, there are basically no differences from the SR40 and the SR40c. The SR40c has an adjustable 3-Dot sighting system; it features the same trigger safety and external safety system and is available in a black or stainless finish. The SR40c also features an ambidextrous magazine release, loaded chamber indicator, and comes with a 9 round magazine. The 15 round magazines with the SR40 can function in the SR40c. Ruger’s new SR40c‘s barrel is 3.5 inches long with 6 groves producing a 1:16″ RH twist. The SR40c’s price is an affordable $525 and should be hitting your local gun stores very soon.
