Kimber Stainless II Pro .45 1911 Pistol

Kimber 1911 Stainless II Pistol

Just about every gun enthusiest I know has a Kimber 1911 Pistol on their wish list.  Kimber is well known to make some of the finest ” highly accurate M1911-style pistols” on the market today.  Add to that the companies track record of quality and reliability and you have a classic updated for modern day use.  These 1911’s are refined, over the years everything has been fine tuned to lead to a weapon that quite honestly can’t get much better. The amount of customization options that Kimber offers on these 1911’s are insane.  It’s pretty safe to say that they are at the very top of that market segment.

The Kimber Stainless Pro 1911 .45 features an extended thumb safety, high ride beaver tail grip safety, and an extended magazine release as well as slide release.  Of course kimber uses only the finest match grade bull barrels in their pistols and this particular model uses a proven single spring recoil design.

Kimber 1911 Stainless Pistol

It’s weight in hand at 36 ounces empty  and  7.7″  long is what I would consider a considerably compact 1911, not as small as others offered yet not nearly as long and nose heavy as many of the full sized are.  Finished in a stunning Satin Silver you may also select from several variations of this weapon, some models include meprolight tritium 3-dot night sights (fixed) while others have traditional sights. Remember custom is the way to go with Kimber, give them a call after you plan out exactly what you want.

The  trigger driect from the factory comes in with a 4-5 pound pull and the gun also has a frontstrap checkering 1913 picatinny rail for your own modifications.

So how much will this .45 set you back? well MSRP is 1,269.00 for the higher end Pro TLE RL II model while the the other variations of the Stainless Pro come in at just over 1k.
